Refund and Chargeback Policy
What happens when money has to go back.

Subscription payments
The $39.99 monthly subscription is charged in advance. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period is not refunded, and access continues until it ends.
If a subscription payment fails, Stripe retries it. Access continues for a short grace period, after which published opportunities are paused until payment succeeds.
Commission reversals
Each opportunity sets a clearance period so that refunds and cancellations can surface before a commission is paid.
If the underlying customer purchase is refunded, cancelled or charged back after a commission has been paid, the commission may be reversed. The reversal is recorded in the ledger against the original result.
Chargebacks
A chargeback on a business payment is handled by Stripe. ProfitRoster may freeze the related opportunity, results and payouts while the chargeback is resolved.
Repeated chargebacks may result in the account being suspended.
Disagreements
If a seller believes a reversal was applied in error, they can open a dispute. A ProfitRoster administrator reviews the tracking data, evidence and messages before deciding.
